Putting the widget on your Lock Screen

The one setup step worth doing – after this you get new questions all day without opening the app:

1. Press and hold your Lock Screen until it enters edit mode.
2. Tap “Customize” at the bottom.
3. Choose “Lock Screen” (the image on the left).
4. Tap the field below the clock.
5. Pick “Fenora” from the list.
6. Tap the widget to choose a mode or situation, then tap “Done” in the top right.

Using the app

Mode vs. situation – what is the difference?

Both live in the bar at the bottom of the screen. The mode sets the tone (Small Talk, Casual, Deep Talk), the situation sets the topic (a date, family dinner, road trip, the office …). Swipe up on the card for the next question.

How do I create a profile?

Tap the profile button in the top right → “New profile” → pick an emoji and a name → add questions. While a profile is active, only its questions come up – in the app and on the widget.

How do I plan a profile in the calendar?

Tap the calendar button in the bottom right → pick a day → assign a profile. The profile activates itself on that day.

Favorites and your own questions

Tap the heart to save a question. Your favorites and the “My questions” area for questions you write yourself both sit behind the profile button in the top right.

How do I set up the iOS Focus Filter?

iOS Settings → Focus → choose a focus → Focus Filters → Add Filter → Fenora → choose a mode. Fenora then switches modes automatically whenever that focus is on.

Premium

Fenora Premium unlocks every situation, removes the daily limit and lets you add your own questions and profiles. It is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly – the current price is shown in the app before you buy.

• Cancel or manage: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Fenora. The subscription keeps running until the end of the period you paid for.
• New device or reinstalled the app? Tap “Restore” on the Premium screen in the app – your purchase is tied to your Apple Account.
• Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

There are no user accounts and no sign-in. Favorites, your own questions, profiles and reminders stay on your device and are removed completely when you delete the app. Beyond that we only collect anonymous usage statistics – details in the privacy policy.

Something is not working?

• The widget does not update: open the app and swipe through a few questions – iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule.
• No reminders: check iOS Settings → Notifications → Fenora → “Allow Notifications”.
• Anything else: email us with your device and iOS version and we will track it down.
